In the opening ceremony Tower control,Federal government aviation minster was attending lool.@Jiron I hope the SW admin is controlling their 'airways' and not controlled from Mogadishu, as Farmajo tried to pull a devastating stunt on Garowe airport which lacks a 'tower control' and is controlled from Mogadishu which they tried to stop air flights going into garacad from garowe so a group of investors can port inspect Garacad.
Reminder to those who do not know, Bosaso has it's own tower control and not hostage to Mogadishu.

You are right. I think PL will discuss this with new Xamar Government.@FBIsomalia who-ever advised garowe should just be a run-way and terminal was silly and should be fired for state treason wa 'qiyaanul qaran' , you need a tower control to control your own airspace, if you lack a tower control, they will be guided from the nearest tower control which is Mogadishu or perhaps 'Bosaso or Baydhabo' in this instance.
You are right. I think PL will discuss this with new Xamar Government.
The Federal Government always said there would be stations throughout the country, like all of them. The headquarters is in Mogadishu but workers/trainers were sent to stations in Hargeisa, Bosaso, and now Baydhabo from the beginning. It is not something new.
The headquarters will be in Mogadishu however there will be stations in Hargeisa and Bosaso as well. The move from Nairobi to
Mogadishu by the ICAO is scheduled for 31 October 2017.
‘Following the Federal Government of Somalia’s (FGS) decision to relocate the ICAO-FISS Project in Mogadishu, ICAO/TCB has been requested to transfer the project subscribers from Nairobi, Kenya, to duty stations in Mogadishu, Hargeisa and Bossasso in Somalia’, the papers state.
The date set to move the office from Nairobi to Mogadishu is ‘tentatively’ set at 31 October 2017 – some three weeks from now."

So on what right has Xamar control tower order Plane take off from Garowe to Garcaad to go back?.The Federal Government always said there would be stations throughout the country, like all of them. It is called national airspace and it is controlled by the national government. So on what right has Xamar control tower order Plane take off from Garowe to Garcaad to go back?.

Imagine Washington DC order Houston airplane to go back to Atlanta !!.It is called national airspace and it is controlled by the national government.

If its international Airspace we understand but Locally. Xamar has no right on it.
Well Mogadishu can hold the regions hostage because yaa ku soo degayso meel aan hawadisa mamuli karin or somewhere were political instability can lead to the shenanigans that happened in garowe where 'garacad business investors' couldn't leave 'garowe' because Mogadishu wouldn't give them the 'ok' to fly or any information about 'hawada' being 'clear'. I am disgusted you support the federal government in this crucially important infrastructure for our capital city in Puntland.
This is another 'failmaajo' policy and @Pwyneth Galtrow should be concerned the bush b22ns want to control us by threatening that no1 can fly in or out of garowe as they have the radar monitoring system for all Somalia, and no plane goes into anyone air space without 'approval' from air tower guards because it can lead to a crash in mid air or at the run way.
I am sick of Farmaajo and his centralism nonsense of such important security infrastructure that can cost lives and stop states from hosting meetings with international community.
Can Biden micromanage planes going from houston to Dallas? The federal job is to manage air space according to defined laws not make political decisions on who gets to fly.It is called national airspace and it is controlled by the national government.
In what world is it micromanaging when the traffic towers have been built in multiple locations and Baydhabo is evidence of the latest one.Can Biden micromanage planes going from houston to Dallas? The federal job is to manage air space according to defined laws not make political decisions on who gets to fly.
In a normal mind this would be an abuse of powers and lawsuits would take place. In a Somali mind you get “hEs ThE pReSiDenT” “aRE yOU A dIffEreNT cOunTrY”?
