Imagine the feeling of the Russians knowing the very existence of Russia is on the line and having to fight with everything they have to stop the Grande Armee.

Our equivalent of this battle would be Battle of Banadir which we won but Mogadishu was never captured, contrary to what Portuguese trolls change on Wikipedia

In fact the Portuguese won that battle, no? Apparently he Portuguese dealt heavy damage to the city and sacked Barawa.

Mogadishu never was captured by the Portuguese, only Barawe was sacked and the Portuguese attempted to capture Mogadishu but suffered heavy losses and then retreated

So why is the wiki page different? I don't think wiki would refute ur side of the story if there was proof or accounts of it.

The page has been edited on multiple occasions and Mogadishu only changed hands during the Ajuraan collaspe during the First Civil War or The Great Rebellion of late 1600s when Hiraab captured Mogadishu and Geledi captured Marka

Interesting. Someone should appeal to wikipedia then and end the buuq. This shouldn't be overlooked, protect history.

Am planning on downloading the duarte barbossa book he was a Portuguese who was born in the 1500s
Who was their around the time the battles happened he was a first hand witness and even agreed that the ajuraans won both of the battles including barawa

And yes the porto trolls are using a made up book from the 1900s translated from Portuguese to English as a source and the book itself is fake

I knew that the Battle of Banadir was a Somali victory but knowing we won Battle of Barawe aswell but to think these revisionists would be successful in spreading this lie a wake up call
