I can’t get enough of this Murders mystery out of South Carolina.

A family law dynasty in SC gets eliminated by a “vengeful” person or by their own family member.

Backstory.

This is 4 generation prominent family. Murdaugh the 1st started a law firm a 100 years ago. The generations after him of his sons continued the tradition where almost all of them became Attorney Generals of the town they live in.

Balaayo has Stricken them now. The great-grandson named Paul, of his early 20s was turning into a serial killer on the downlow (DL). Just last year he killed a young lady in a boat incident. He was on trial for that. Previously rhe maid “fell of their home stairs” when Paul was the only person in the house with the maid. Family paid off the family of the maid. 5 years ago a gay teen was killed and cops suspected him as well.
Fast forward to the present situation. The father of Paul, Alex, says he was shot while changing his tires on the side of the road in the country side. Bizarre situation. But the wound was superficial. A day later he was fired from the family law firm for stealing. He was deep in debt. Was alcoholic and a gambler.

My own point of view;

Dude was desperate for money. Killed his troublesome son for the life insurance and also killed his wife for the insurance and a collateral.
( I also suspect the son was a closeted khaniis and so he killed the khaniis)

This seems cut and clear. No confusion there. Alex is a drug addict. He is behind killing his wife and son for insurance purposes. I am sure he is Police # 1 suspect, but since his family is a "Dynasty" and prominent in that gossiping south part of the United States-- The Police are waiting for "Hard" evidence. They must have a lot of power for Police to be afraid of them like this.


Didn't Alex enter a drug rehabilitation after the so called "Tire changing " gun fire? Which is Bullsh!t. A rich man like Alex change his own tire?

The Rehab is also a ploy to be shielded from Police interrogation. Alex is guilty no question about it.


My Question-- was the gun wound --a gun clocking on the forehead like it happens in the movie? Or an actually attempt gun went off and the bullet graced his forehead.

either way ....Alex is guilty!

I’m always astonished at the attempt to throw off the investigators. It is always premature and always childish. Specially when the authorities are closing in the suspect embarks on doing the most. I’m like “how was this person a successful business person with this dumb mentality”. Then I realize that these folks come from money, generational wealth and got that job through nepotism and not through their wits.

But for sure we haven't even reached half of the story. I think u r right, the criminal always messes up thinking they are smarter than the investigators. Looks like Alex did that too. He was lucky he was not arrested for his familys murder. This late episode is too much of a coincident
