All of her NE African is Somali. They get Ethiopian/Eritrean scores cos 23andme is confused by their diverse roots and elevated MENA compared to normal Somalis. All her 38% NE Afro is most likely Somali. There really is zero history of Highlanders of any sort in Koonfur outside of some Oromo admixture that would show up in the local Somalis in high amounts if it was this prevalent in Benadiris like her but it mostly doesn't.

yeah I agree. it seems unlikely that she would have Highland habesha or even Oromo admixture seeing how she's from Baraawe.

No it’s not why you lying. Somali dna is very accurate on 23andMe. I scored 100% Somali and 0% Ethiopian and Eritrean.

My god... What on earth is it with you and simple logic? This is the second thread where you've displayed an absence of it. Like I explained, she is of uniquely mixed origins. 23andme doesn't know what to do with that unlike with "pure" Somalis like you and me. She has elevated MENA and whatnot so it confuses their algorithm and makes her look Habesha admixed because Habeshas are basically Somalis with elevated MENA on some level. And again, there is ZERO historical evidence of Benadiris having such ancestry. None. And none of the surrounding "pure" Somalis show such elements.

That’s disproven lol. I’ve seen on 23andMe half Somali half Yemeni results. Also she scored 0% Ethiopian Eritrean only 50% Somali.
? It's a fact that the algorithm mistakes somalis admixed with Yemeni or any other MENA as Habesha. giving them extra Ethiopian and Eritrean. this girl got 14.9% Ethiopian and Eritrean. that's a lot. there's no historical evidence of Habeshas intermixing with Baraawe somalis

Bro I’ve seen half Yemeni and Somali results but the person had 0% Ethiopian and Eritrean. The algorithm is accurate with Somali DNA.

She is not half Yemeni, saxiib. I have seen Benadiri results for years and even have several of their raw samples on my computer through email correspondence with them and have used third-party softwares like nMonte to assess their DNA results more accurately than garbage like 23andme. Again, the algortihm doesn't know what to do with people who have weirdly diverse roots like being 20% Desi, 20-30% or more some sort of broad MENA mix, 20-40% Somali and and like 5-10% Bantu or more (this is seriously what most Benadiris look like and she fits the mold). That's just too weird and funky for 23andme's algorithm and it tries to make more sense of it by inserting Habesha when there is ZERO historical chance they would even have such ancestry. There were never Habesha or Highland Ethiopian inhabitants of towns like Barawe or Xamar, saxiib. Never. It was always groups like Hawiyes, Ajuran, Tunnis, Jiddus and Maay folk.
