Barawani delusion funded by Om@n?

It’s a never ending story with these mutts
IMG_9268.gif

Do they really think they’re doing themselves or their people a favor? They’re just making everyone hate them more. It’s game over once somalis get pissed off. I'm glad their miskiin mask is falling off.

The biggest mistake of ethnic Somalis is fueling anti-autochthonous claims against each other. Somalis among themselves know that calling an Isaaq a Habesha, a Hawiye a Hutu, or a Darood a Zanzibari is nothing more than a very coarse insult that should never be believed or repeated. Every week a new threa titled "This [INSERT CLAN] is SECRETLY OROMO". At this point who isn't Oromo?

We Somalis, together with our broader Cushitic macro-group, are among the oldest recorded inhabitants of this land. Our presence stretches from parts of Egypt all the way into deep Tanzania and far into the Sahel. Perhaps only the early hunter-gatherers preceded us, and even then, we carry trace amounts of their lineage within us. The same cannot be said for jeraars and cadcads. Who descendants from people enslaved as recently a hundred years ago or are the descendants of indian merchant moving into the already bustling Somali cities.

Somalis are sheepish. While this might touch a nerve, we have neglected, buried and ignored our pre-Islamic society, culture, and history, refusing to claim them as our rightful heritage. This is due to a sense of misplaced shame. Meanwhile, Egyptians, North Africans, Yemenis, Syrians, Iraqis, and many other Arab and non-Arab Islamic peoples have embraced their past and proudly consider themselves the continuation of their ancient civilizations. We see ourselves as having appeared from nothingness. We've only got some stories surviving from the obvious pre-islamic age.

We are afraid to let go of the stories we have told ourselves. If we accept that we descend from the great cultures and civilizations, like the ancient city-states stretching from Zeila to Kismayo, the land of Punt, and likely even more magnificent civilizations still buried in our sands, then we must also reject the false idea that we are some confused Arabo-Ethiopian mix, which we are not. Arab origin myth of our clan-patriach fuels attack by others against the rightful claim of our land.

When it comes to cadcads and jeraars, the evidence is in their blood, literally. If the cadcads were truly kings, then why do so many of them carry significant jeraar ancestry, the very people who were once enslaved and sold by Somalis? Why were their great-grandparents reduced to coupling with slaves? Why does their blood contain almost no Arab lineage, but instead shows strong traces of Indian ancestry? Why do modern-day mixes of Bantu, Indian, and a little Somali now claim ownership of this land which they were welcomed in as guest?

All of this began when Somalis started claiming to be Arabs. Our cities and cultures existed long before our conversion to Islam. Yet some elders still believe that Somalis were originally Arabs who became dark-skinned by marrying Ethiopians. This narrative furthers foreign agendas and presents cadcads as the last pure descendants of ancient Arab peoples in the Horn of Africa, which is simply untrue.

The real difference between CadCad and Barawani, is that CadCads speak patois Somali and Barawani speak a Swahili dialect.
I'm a cadcad hater but I draw a line when it comes to Barawanis they represent Somalia.

Southern Somalia is Madow , Barawani , Cadcad iyo hindi they are part of the Banadir fabric , just say alx we are nomads from central/north/east Somalia.

Our Arabs in the North/Central/East are no different from us

Daarood and Isaaq are the only ones who spead this disgraceful Ana Arab lie, and this is why it's easy for foreigners to spread lies about Somalis.

One of the main propaganda spread by Bantus and their Albino cousins (CadCad and Barawani) is that Somalis are from Ethiopia. Meanwhile, even a Xabashi is closer to Somalis than they are if we focus on DNA.

Bantus from Cameroon and Asians, baa dhulkeena ku riyooniya. Each not realising that they were both living under the mercy of ethnic Somalis.

These people are so delusional

Bruh, how about we hate on no one. Every group has chronically online clowns.
True I agree, I think social media exemplifies hate trends and what not. You shouldn't use social media as a true representation. The best way is to limit social media, because if you do not it can in a sense rot your brain

When one person in your family says or claims something, it essentially reflects on the entire family. I do not enjoy blaming an entire clan for a specific belief, especially knowing that there are plenty of Hawiye or Raxanweyn uncles who also probably believe that Somalis are of Arab origin.

That said, it is unfortunate, even ironic, that in Somali territories where the Darood predominantly reside, we find some of the most magnificent examples of pre-Islamic artifacts and cultural remnants. These include ancient stone mounds and a landscape scattered with fragments of pottery. There are also signs of long-distance trade, such as Roman flagons, due to the north coast location along natural harbors like Qandala and other parts of the coast. These areas were ancient export and trading hubs, deeply connected to the economic networks of the ancient world.

LOL

It's not FKD to claim that a bunch of Hindi-Bantu hybrids enslaved Somalis. It's racist and it's false. If these people cared about carrying some Somali DNA, they'd have respect for the Somalis that were nice enough to give them access to our soil.

We don't need to cast anyone out of the Somali fold, because people will do that themselves. I advise you and all these other mixed people to be very careful about pissing off Somalis, because if they are angry at being 0.5 in Somalia, they will be much more upset about becoming 'akhdam' or 'untouchable' in Asia.
You saw one banaadiri being racist and decided to run with it despite people with those thoughts being a minority.

You are also doing the same thing by calling us “bantu-hindi hybrids”. Maybe you can be a bit more sensitive with your words rather than fight racism with racism.

we are somali whether you like it or not.

. This is why I don't think Somalis should marry them, unless their entire family has been vetted.
My parents already did 19 years ago you thought you did something with that. Majority of my family are hawiye/reer xamar and I even have 1 cousin who is somalilander and reer xamar. Its been happening for hundreds of years between different clans. This is also the same for beesha jreerwyne and other ethnic minorities

I didnt dispute that. Yes there are some racists ofc due to their proximity to arabs and south asians and persians. However you have to understand banaadiris were oppressed and have resentment from the war. Personally my dad is hawiye and yes there is sometimes pushback on my side due to me being hawiye but vast majority of banaadiris are not like that. Majority have nothing but love for their people and for other somalis.

Im a prime example. My own mother is banaadiri and my father a hawiye. Their union was celebrated and cherished with no racism whatsoever
They held those beliefs well before the civil war.

And the warlords targeted everyone. Somali Bantus probably suffered the most since many were mostly farmers. But you rarely, if ever, see them acting like that.

Anyway, I usually avoid talking about ethnic minorities. I don’t want to sound like one of those insecure right winger types who obsess over minorities and blame everything on them. Best to just ignore it. Especially since I know it’s just a coping mechanism.

Quick correction, Somalis never sold Bantus. Bantus sold other Bantus to Arabs, and some Somali farm owners later bought them from Arab traders. Show me a reliable source claiming Somalis ever sold Bantus and I will believe you.

More fake news. I agree with your first point, but y’all need to sort yourselves out and stop dragging the rest of us into this. Where exactly are you finding these mythical Hawiye or RX folks ana caarb? Are they in the room with us right now?

Are there sources that they had this belief from before the civil war? I dont think this is the case sorry. If there is then I will happily drop my statement

What a small world. I used to work with mandeeq. I rarely hear much from cadcads but i dont believe most people will care about wht they have to say about our history. They are few in number.
