I didnt dispute that. Yes there are some racists ofc due to their proximity to arabs and south asians and persians. However you have to understand banaadiris were oppressed and have resentment from the war. Personally my dad is hawiye and yes there is sometimes pushback on my side due to me being hawiye but vast majority of banaadiris are not like that. Majority have nothing but love for their people and for other somalis.

Are we the portuguese in their mind, is that why they are so obsessed with calling us colonizers and imperialists? in a lot of countries you find ethnic minorities and former immigrant groups play roles and have cultural impacts. like reer mombasa of kenya. like the albanians of damascus contributed to its islamic scholarship. like the hadrami (yemenis) in indonesia. the british jamaicans.
in somalia they are pretty much irrelevant. and now they have less clout in trade because somalis became much more urbanized after 1991.
