Itβs funny how easy it is to see right through the performance antics in some of these threads.
OP calls herself βPuntland Queenβ but barely talks about Puntland instead, itβs endless rage threads about βcadcads,β Barawa, Benadiri, Bantu etc. If not that, then itβs recycled daily threads about dirac, whoβs wearing it, phenotype talk, iyo wax la mid ah.
Then thereβs the obvious, forced slander targeting those specific communities(insults always revolves around tying them to Indians). You can tell , unless youβre from those groups yourself , you wouldnβt be obsessing over them this much, constantly bringing them up just to complain or βdebate.β It just makes it even more clear youβre actually from, or tied to, the very people you claim to have an issue with.
Itβs the same with most people commenting on these threads ,itβs like yβall just gave up the whole larp game.
Honestly, Iβm not too bothered by the claims flying around on social media. You canβt rewrite documented history. Anyone whoβs genuinely interested or informed will see through the noise without much effort.
Historically, Somalis migrated to Arabia and integrated as traders and religious or political figures without displacing the local populations. Yet, when others arrive on Somaliaβs already inhabited coast, their presence is framed as βfounding towns.β Cmon now, This isnβt really about history , itβs about identity politics. That's what underpins all of this, even the creation of this thread.
If you actually care about the truth, you either correct misinformation calmly, without getting emotional, or if the person clearly isnβt reasonable, you disengage. Constantly reacting and trying to clap back to everything just wastes time and stops you from actually learning something useful. That's another reason why this is obviously seems very performative.
