It was about a Somali man who went to Germany. He and his mother had been separated, or she had gone to Germany before him. This man didn’t know the German language, so he was assigned a Barawani translator.

However, the translator would tell the German government that the Somali man wanted to go back to Somalia, while telling the Somali man that the government was working on finding him a place to settle in Germany. The Somali man kept asking the Barawani translator to help him settle in the town where his mother lived—he even had paperwork with her location.

The German government told the Barawani translator, “Tell him we can’t send him back to Somalia because it’s unsafe. We’ll settle him in a random town where there’s work.” But the Barawani translator simply told the Somali man, “The government is settling you in a town for work.”

Eventually, the Somali man was placed in a town. There, he found a new translator who was Darood. He told this new translator, “I want to find my mother and live in the same town as her.” The Darood translator went to the German government and explained, “This man doesn’t understand why he wasn’t settled near his mother. He’s had the paperwork showing where she is since he arrived, and his first translator was supposed to give it to you.”

The German officials responded, “We were told by your Barawani translator the entire time that you wanted to return to Somalia. We even sent deportation paperwork to send you to Kenya.”

The German government then called in the Barawani translator and asked, “Why did you lie when translating for this Somali man?” The translator had no answer.

When the Somali man found out he had been betrayed the entire time, he said he wanted revenge but the only thing he could do was share his story with other Somalis to warn them: Avoid Barawani translators.

In the end, the German government resettled him in a town near his mother.

There is this Barawani guy on Tiktok, I can't remember his name, but his videos when he mentions Somalis is very passive aggressive. What's his name again? He looks Bantu but not darkskinned. I think UK accent and he has been posted on here before.

Some young Barawani revisionists online have this weird complex where they try to link themselves to Swhailis, Indians, Jamaicans, Native Indians (joking with the last two) yacni everyone apart from the people whose land they settled in and married into. This is why you have guys like the video above sitting there smirking while the Asian professor lies about Somali history and makes some border line racist remarks.

Some of these coastal town grew rich from the trade with the Somali interior and also the fact Somalis set up farming and productions systems along the river. The coastal people cried out to the Geledi who defeated Sheikh Al Majerteeni when he occupied Barawa. Likewise, it was the Geledi who defeated the Jama Bardheere. The Omanis recognised the prestige of the Geledi. Families of Somalis also helped found a few of the coastal Swahili cities and the sultans there often allied with Somalis to help against invasions.

The Game of these Barawani/cadcad pseudo historians is to discredit Somalis by over emphasising the migration factor and deceptively portraying all Somalis throughout history as illiterate nomads. None of this works because the history of the region; be it: archeology, written sources, linguistics and oral history places Somalis as the most influential continuous Islamic society from Zeila to Barawa from the inception of Islam till now.

Yep! He was coming at Somalis and will then hide behind the Somali name for protection.
