This reminds me of the Ugandans that were happy when the Indians were allowed back in after Idi Amin kicked them out.

Indians owned all the big businesses and factories in Uganda.
Bantus from Kenya to DRC and down to South Africa are not very entrepreneurial. They have a culture of mistrust, spend much and save little, greed and risk aversion which are all bad for doing well in business. Somalis living their are dominating the market and taking the long held monopoly from the indians and lebanese living in these parts of Africa with ease.

Why are Indians successful outside on India but not in India. Why can’t Indians turn India into an economic powerhouse?
