Every Somali back home has a relative or a distant relative that either lives in the West or is supported by someone that lives in the West.
Nearly all Somali Bantus are still in Somalia and many of them live in remote areas.
These kids are sent by parents from their villages to work for them and send money back, not unsimilar to Somalis working overseas to send money back home.
Somali Bantus also have no political representation or protection. Most of their young do not attend school or go to hospitals.
They would perform much better as a society if they were given equal representation to Darood and Hawiye and other major clans. Anyone not willing to do that, is not serious about helping them.
