It's time to be up-front about this, what is causing our division? it's mainly to do with no-one trusting the south with power, and the reason behind it is simple, look at they're chaotic region and you will see why it's best to keep failed clans from power. To stregthen Somali unity will require all failed clans told to go back to your regions and fix it and in the mean time only successful clans who have stable regions will be handed the SFG presidency, Prime minister, speaker and all institutions.
No more 4.5, it doesn't work mixing failed and successful regions together. It simply is causing people to want Somali confederations and separation, it's time we accept this as Somalis. If your a true Somali nationalist and love one strong Somalia, you must also respect successful regions will not entertain handing over power to unsuccessful regions or clans who are still in 'civil war' era. Some states in Somalia look like PL in 93, especially GM. Some states are even worse then PL in it's worst period of time 91-98, they are still in UNSOM, AMISOM era of security control like HS/South west.
