what would be the catalyst then? some kind of conflict from this years elections? It’s not that unlikely unfortunately, but inshallah we never go through anything like it again

There’s already catalysts saaxib, in every corner. There’s like 10 potential conflicts tht can spike into a second civil war and the only thing stopping it from happening (dawladnino Iyo somalinimo) is loosing respect day by daywhat would be the catalyst then? some kind of conflict from this years elections?
They wouldn’t be able to do it, a large chunk of Somalia is sufi and shababs principles are based on wahabism. Plus if one qabil supports shabab the rival of that qabil will naturally be anti shabab to keep the rivalry going
I have only talked to my grandfather once in my life. I was around 5 years old and he told me to work hard in school and educate myself.
A few weeks later my father disappeared from the house , i found out he was in his room for 2 days straight. My grandfather was dead, killed alongside his maid and 2 of my baby cousins by terrorists.
My grandfather was a high ranking member of the government, i won't go into details but he has a wiki page and all.
A few weeks before he was assassinated i remember arguments between my dad and my grandfather, my dad was adamant that he should go to Dubai. Dubai would grant him a visa and he could rent a home through our great late aunt. My dad offered to pay everything.
But My grandfathers answer was simple, "What for?, have i lost all dignity?".
My grandfather died for Somalia even though generations of our family was raised in Aden. He died for it even though in 2005 the government was non-existent. He died for it when it was easy to not.
Patriotism is not standing with your country when its strong but also standing with it when it's at its worst point. A true patriot will not give up on the Ideal, the ideal of a Somali nation where all men and women are equal and free, unburdened by radical Islamists, tribalists and foreign invaders.
I support my grandfathers dream and what he died for.
Sxb welcome back. We got this mx nigga preaching about somalis should stick togetherEveryone knows balkanization is worse but I say collective misery than seeing a system that benefits some and marginalizes others.
#balkanizeZoumalia
add to that dhulos who stage demonstrations from Las caanood screaming "free gedo" only to get locked up in their own city and never fight against that.Sxb welcome. We got this mx nigga preaching about somalis should stick togetherAnd you got this warsengli invested in everything below jowhar
A high ranking darood government official in xamar? 2005?I have only talked to my grandfather once in my life. I was around 5 years old and he told me to work hard in school and educate myself.

The Rome analogy for SomaliaRome wasn't built in a day, 10 years nearly all of Southern Somalia was controlled by Alshabab including Kismaayo. now we are seeing the rebirth of the nation.
FGS is strongest party in Somalia both financially and militarily.
Example of a council would be one guy from each of these clans : MJ,HG, MX, Abgaal, OG, Raxanweyn plus one for small daroods, one for small dir clans and one from beelaha shanaad like Bantus and reer xamar.
In federalism/confederacy there will be winners and losers. Just like in Siad Barre regime langaabs were winners and powerful clans were punished. Siad Barre himself was from a langaab tribe so could not sustain his rule forever.
Farmajoo doesn't have a chance because he is langaab, supported by langaabs such as that Warsengali kid. He has destroyed any hopes of the idea of Somalimo. He has made the Somali people more tribal minded and placed people in that pre-1991 mind-set. In Farmajoos 4 years of rule he has given everything to Gedo people and nothing to others.
Then why are your people doing tahriib? Half of the somalis in Libya are Landers.
LoL.
Geeljires comparing buildings Always make me laugh.
Anyway I'm not from Gedo Saaxiib . We don't only live in Gedo lol
Bro you are the guy who advocated for PL to be a monarchy over the rest of Somalia. While I completely disagree with tye monarchy thing i believe that more involvement of PL in somali politics can help stabilizing Somalia. You can develop your region and at the same help with the stabilization of Somalia. I wouldn't mind if a strong stable PL helped or even ruled Somalia, I want the best outcome for somalia as a whole@Som we want PL not to waste precious time in political is-gabgabsi and complete health and education outcomes that need to be reached. We need a robust infrastructure program from roads-drainage-sewage in our cities and across regional puntland. We want water-food security met. We want PL inay uu eekato dawlad qaran ah oo bixinayso adeegyo qaran.
The only thing missing from our regional profile success was to build a 'port' and we are doing that now. We are creating roads that are 280 kilometers long in Sanaag without any funding from overseas. Puntland wa 'Dawlad qaran' sidan gabi anyways oo wax kasto iskaga filan oo dadkeeda iyo dawladeeda keliya uu bahan.
