Ayaan absolutely deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for her scholarly contributions, bravery and honesty.

Good to see that Eedo Ayaan is still out there saving the world from backward ideologies and working hard to to reform Islam.

She’s one of the very few to recognize that Islam is a religion, a culture, and a political philosophy with totalitarian implications, all at once.

Since we in the West have long separated these things, we’re nearly incapable of grasping what Islam is.

De-wahabbizing somalia will be a difficult task, it's truly one of the main reasons why the Muslim world is backwards. 1.6 billion and only 3 Nobel laureate's in relevant subjects compared to 18 million Jews with over 300 Nobel laureate.

I have her book "Nomad" and it is a good read.

But I'm not interested in books related to "Anti-Islamism" or Islam.
It's always the same argument, with the same standpoints.

Still, I admire her bravery for making it to the West as a Black Somali woman who suffered from traumas by "her people"; it takes courage as a Refugee to work and assimilate into the West, as she came in her early 20s, learned Dutch and English, worked in the Dutch parliament (before Ilhan Omar!). Somali women are impressive in their achievements, and Ayaan Hirsi looks perfectly fine, with a typical somali look and her work is astonishing.
