Hypothetically speaking, I doubt Somaliland recognition is a realistic goal. Reason being Somaliland could have been recognised 10 years ago when Somalia was a severely fragile government. Somalia is on the path of becoming a superpower within 50 years. Imagine if China steps in or Russia or even Qatar. If all of the three countries aid Somalia with help of Turkey. I see Somalia becoming the most powerful African country by 2060. Somalia will become an oil producing nation by 2028. Plus Sanaag has gold and other minerals like lithium and copper worth 1 trillion usd. Besides that, Galmudug has uranium deposits worth hundreds of billions. Trump can’t do shit.
