Australia is mostly a desert wasteland. Every major city is built along the coast. I've been to Melbourne in your winter and it gets cold, rainy, and windy all at the sametime. Summers are so brutal that no one wants to go out. Plus they constantly fighting bush fires.
Australia is the most isolated western style country on earth, it's the land down under. The only countries that are a short flight are the weird Asian countries.

Our neighbors near America have just as beautiful islands with fun cultures I can vibe with. Countries like Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Mexico (not an island but worth a mention), and many more...
Plus London is only 6hrs from New York. We not so isolated like y'all

Malaysia and Singapore are very Westernised. They all speak fluent English, have strong economies and have a soft spot for the UK.

Im not joking about the last part, Tesco, Pret et Manger and all the other UK brands are active in those countries.

But in a nutshell, Malaysians and Singaporeans are not socially awkward when they come to Australia.

The difference between super rich countries (Qatar, Norway, Switzerland, Luxembourg) and normal rich countries (France, Canada, Germany, South Korea) is barely noticeable.

Anything above Spain level of average wealth/income is good enough. Stop flexing with that your diaspora country is richer than others, it is barely noticeable to the average person living in those countries.
