Australia has the highest average incomes in the world, because GDP per capita doesn't include that every average low income aussie is banking 10-20k into superannuation or pensions mandatory by 'law' not a 'choice' like America, so this rises up wealth when assessed against the rest of the world.

Wealth is distributed equally here not sitting at the top, that's why u will never find much difference between low income and high income suburbs other then high income areas are closer to the CBD and low income is further out. But it's nothing like @Roorigeg where half his cities are in squalid conditions and it's apparent the wealth is concentrated and not distributed like Australia.

Australia should learn from finland and austria and those countries not America, we made a mistake adopting america and the uk model in the 60's. We are rectifying that.


our housing sector is going through redevelopment mixing income groups so it doesn't lead into a ghetto. It's nothing like austria though but it's not america thank god. 60% live in affordable housing in Vienna


A society is judged by how well off their weakest members are becaause if the weak are eating good then the middle and rich will be eating even better.

Australia wealth isn't concentrated into one section of town(white ppl) looooooooooooool, all our suburbs are funded and look the same and have same quality of life. The only difference is rich areas have better locations like beach-side or near the city but other then that, all our suburbs enjoy identical living standards. Why? because wealth is distributed here equally, it's not concentrated into one race, one suburb, one city, etc. The wealth reaches every aussie.

The Chinese are the richest since they also hold the majority of the debt of the USA which is up in the trillions. And on top of that they have the biggest economy going on for themselves.

Australia isn't the largest economy due to our population size but any aussie is richer then other citizens because our wealth is spread out. Waryaa we have 10% mandatory company contribution to employee retirement pensions and then if u add more the govt matches u for each dollar.

Mid 30s is quite average. It's when it's 45 n above when u shud start worrying.

The only places that have an actual 'winter' here is melbourne, canberra, hobart, adelaide, they can reach 15 degrees in winter. The rest like perth, darwin, brisbane, have no real winter. It doesn't get below 22 degrees. Infact darwin is 35 all year round it has wet/dry season only but the climate is tropical/humid. Perth is like spanish weather. Sydney can drop to 19 in winter but that's about it. Sydney can get humid in summer tho like brisbane

@Basra I remember minneapolis snow, it makes town look so ugly, plus the cold there is on another level, i never seen snow my whole life looooooool. I wake up in morning and in all australian cities u will enjoy at least 250 days of the year with pure sunshine, the rest 100 days cud be rainy but no SNOW. Not bad huh BASRA. We even have clothesline in our yards, we dont use dryers in australia, the sun will dry our clothes for us?

Australia was built by convicts too which is the trash of the UK. That's why I wish they created penal colonies in Somalia and settled here, u really need an advanced ppl to eliminate inferior cultures, everyone benefits the superior and inferior. Now aborigines have a better life then running around naked in the bush. Even the aborigines who live in the bush, they have access to flying doctor services, dalkooda waa loo dhisay, they get so many social services benefits targetting their ppl.
