The problem is the date which is the day the First Fleet carrying British convicts moored into Sydney Cove in 1788 and the indigenous people rightfully see it as 'Invasion Day'. Momentum for a change is rapidly building and sooner than later, it will be moved to another date, so it could be an inclusive day that all Australians could celebrate it. March is a month mentioned by those lobbying for a change. Why early January, it is already a holiday period?
