It’s mad. Fobs and old school Somalis had self confidence even with rotting khat stained teeth. Somalis are naturally loud and proud no matter how short, tall, overweight or any other deficiencies they have. When this guy speaks. Not really. Naago especially the blunt ones, will tell you what’s what. I doubt by advise would be much different to yours which is:
1. Get your money and education up and if you’re not into Academia learn a trade or try and set up a business. Start Hagbaad/ayuuto from young. Thats how older gen Somalis are able to start businesses and build houses. Be financially savvy.
2. Work on your social skills. Even before relationships, you should be comfortable with your peers. Try and be a people’s person. Join networking events, have hobbies like men’s football, hiking ect. Try and make sure you’re a likeable and well rounded man that can eventually hold an interesting conversation because you’re interesting yourself.
3. Be a man of routine. Don’t give into laziness and procrastination. Having a strict discipline will help you in all facets of life.
4. Along with team sports like football which helps with making friends and being one of the lads, join a gym so that you can work on your body and look your best.
5. if your hair is thinning, get a hair transplant or if that isn’t an option as some people fear the fertility aspect since there are studies that say it can’t impact that, grow a nice beard. Many women don’t mind bald men but with nice beards and a good body to go wih it. Sometimes very short hair/bald with a big beard and muscles can make you look very masculine, so tap into that and be confident.
6. Stop this incel/redpill nonsense which will ultimately feminize you. Women like men that have self-respect and who will also pursue you. Look at men back home. They’re masculine and they have no issues going above and beyond for a woman in the beginning stages. That is why for all of their issues they have a better success rate with women, since they know the art of making women feel special. Western Faraxs are a bit feminine in the sense that they want to be chased and don’t want to put in effort if she isn’t in the beginning. But men and women aren’t the same in that regard. You should be the one calling the most first, gifting and pursuing.

Even when Somali fathers (first generation) are around how often do you see them teaching their so how to:
fix things or paint? Save money? Have Serious conversations about relationships? Time keeping and hygiene? I would say it is rare. Somalis think these are things people automatically learn at an older age or they just leave it to the hooyo to teach/enforce these skills.
The problem with hooyo style parenting is that they are often too soft on their sons and they don’t see the importance of teaching them how to cook or making them responsible for certain chores around the house. Even with second generation Somalis, I’ve seen teenage boys sit around and watch their sisters do washing up after the girls and mom have been in the kitchen the whole day during Ramadan. When you can’t cook in your late teens and early 20s, I think it has a big impact when you move out because you end up spending lots of money on takeaway which is detrimental to saving money.
This is not to say the above problems cause the rot the guy in the video is suffering from. I think he has some depressive tendencies. Stil, families can help give boys an early start by enrolling them in activities like karate, travelling regularly to hot countries and by crewing a sense of responsibility/order in the home from a young age.
That’s why you get him a wife to take over the mother’s cooking/cleaning job. All the son needs to learn is how to generate money. Then he will be blessed with daughters hopefully. That will make things easier on the mother.
For someone whose mother was a business woman, why on earth do you think a woman would want to be a surrogate mother to a grown man, especially in this day and age? Do you have trauma with your mother being out of the home because how did you end up being like this?
