I think Reer Xirsi guy is after him because Dabcasar exposed the guy from killing the colonel that he mentioned. That is if we believe Dabcasar's version of events. We can't take him everything he stated as the truth since we don't hear from the other guy; however, what he revealed seems to have triggered the other guy.

Because revealing that the guy killed the colonel publicly can be an incitement to violence with respect to the relatives of the deceased colonel. And the police coming to his house means they want him to answer for what what he claimed and bring evidence or face justice for his non-proven claims.
