I get it you barely remember the beginning of the decade due to age, but really come on, dude was a nobody before this year under the pop system(heck teammate Duncan was better than him this decade), won one ring by himself, basically even dirk did that this decade(you were probably in preschool but it was this decade), far from the best basketball player this decade let alone best athlete

Duncan was drafted in 1997. Did you really expect Kawhi to outperform him? Kawhi was only a rookie in 2014. He has accomplished a lot in a short time. That’s why I’m voting for him. Kawhi is the most impressive player. He won Toronto a championship. My loyalties lie with him. He is a living legend.

He has an argument for being better than durant same amount of fmvp and rings. KD has 1 more mvp but kawhi has 2 more dpoy awards. KD embarasses him in all nba team selections but kawhi evens it out in all defensive team selections. Keep in mind KD played 12 seasons to Kawhis 9

yeah but kawhis first fmvp was the second weakest of the decade after iguadola, he was a role player not on KDs level, and his Toronto ring was only because KD got injured

I disagree, you could see the warriors were weak with out him both years, people were just memeing, if KD wasn't on the warriors last year I don't think they make it out the first round against the clippers, he's the most unstoppable scorer
