TBH, @Hilaac gave the most Godly answer. God tests everyone and we all have our battles with sin. I hate homosexuality by having these urges are normal. Acting on them are different. I hope God guides you and I apologize for being un Christian in my responses.
It's biromanticism heterosexuality perfectly normal. I'm pansexual but heteroromantic. Meaning, I have sexual urges to people I have feelings for but I could never be romantic with a woman. I can think of sex with her but never a relationship. I also have never acted on these urges.
I didnt leave the religon becouse of that obviously. i was responding to the "Did you feel more peace when you were Muslim" part. i left years after all that in my quest to learn more about the religon.

Im not sure. Nobody in my family knows, and i was very careful even as a kid. Even if they did though, they'd be in denial and hate me. So i chose to keep it hidden. I dont live with them anymore so its easier. Its sad though, becouse there is a barrier between us and i dont have much of a relationship with them. I barely call and when we speak on the phone it usually lasts like 10 mins. too much info tbh. i might delete this
