As Falaalug attacked once more Somaliland troops bases will they make their word count

Falaalug did it again last night.

He went into Somaliland troops bases and killed a few while a burning Somaliland vehicle was reported by locals.

Somaliland said of they are attacked one more time that they will attack and retaliate against Puntland though Puntland did not attack them.

Puntland government is not looking for Amy skirmishes at the moment with Somaliland but as they said earlier they will not tell locals who are despising Somaliland troops presence in their lands that they shall not attack them.

Sir we didn't attack. It was SSC/Khaatumo that did. They are against Somaliland's presence in SSC region.

Somaliland wants to divert that to Puntland because it is more convenient to paint it as an external issue rather than an internal one.

Puntland made it clear that they will not tell those who took arms that they shouldn't fight.

This is bad for Somaliland as they are sitting ducks of guerilla attacks which they cannot afford.

Losing men, equipment at that rate effects morale and could even result in infighting mutiny.

Somaliland said they will retaliate if that happens one more time and leach out against Puntland.

My question is, where's the leach out?

Puntland did worse guerilla attacks in Sool and on a larger scale. This doesn't compare and will just further escalate things.

SL has the logistics, manpower, equipment and backing of which will improve after the military base in Berbera is operational by the UAE.

Saahid you are a smart guy, you know SL won't lose its grip on Sanaag or Sool. It will only increase year by year.

The only way I see a change in SL grip on the disputed areas is through diplomacy.

I never said it is not damaging but you know Somaliland waits a while before responding to the point it is not expected.

Just like in Tukaraq and Yubbe, Somaliland responds unexpectedly.
