Not really although it will be kinda dull life without children. In the end we all grow old and our friends and family members die the only one who will visit you is your grandchildren.

Yes these people aren't thinking the long term. Past 50 or so you won't have many non family members around you. You children and rgandchildren will be the only ones there along with the wife for the last 40 years or so of your life.

Yes, you will. I work with plenty of miserable, childless men and women. Not a single one is happy. Even the ones who are in bad horrible marriages/divorce and hate their spouse don't regret marrying because of the children they have.

When man get married and have children he needs to work extra time and harder to afford food and shelter to his family. Plus the wife getting pregnant and the kid needing one parent to stay home. All this causes the men to lose their freedom.
