Prince of Lasanod

Eid trim pending
@Prince of Lasanod @Prince Abubu That's why we should honour the legacy of the AJuuran nobility and wage a 'gaal madow' war part 2. Uncivilised Galla waaqists
We gained more than we lost to be honest. Hararghe/Bale for Shabelle, Jubba, Tana river. Apparently the whole South Somalia was Oromo before the Sab Somalis conquered it.

I think it was worth it. The lands they have are now like 80-90 % degraded/unusable. :rejoice::win:

Another ethnic group who number around 1m that are very similar to Hararis:

"The great majority of the Silt'e population is Muslim making up 97.60% the population followed by Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity at 2.03%. Until the second half of the twentieth century the Silt'e were considered as being part of the Gurage (but called Adiyya or Hadiyya by the Sebat Bet Gurage). Silte people are also called Adere by the neighboring Arsi-Oromo which might indicate the relationship to the Harari who live (in and around the historic city of Harar) miles away from where the Silte people are inhabiting. The two ethnic groups (Silte and Harari) share somewhat similar language and the same religion."

"It is believed that the origin of Silte dates back to the 16th century, when Imam Ahmad ibn Ibrahim or Ahmad Gran in the context of Abyssinian history conducted a massive military expedition against Christian Abyssinia."

I used to believe that afar were our closest cousins, but then when I watched a documentary that showed how the men are busy grooming themselves in the day whilst the women work and collect things, I realised how different we were, afar are naago.
