That is impossible. If my father marries again, my mother will divorce him since I am the oldest of ten children I have to provide for her and my siblings my father will just have to reap what he sows or he can ask his other Adult children from his previous marriage or my siblings who are old enough to work. In conclusion, he's getting nothing from me.

Course it’s literally his own blood? Somalis literally send back money monthly to distant relatives , qaraan money and close family. Those sibblings are much closer and carry same name as the guy and if he ever goes back they will be the ones welcoming him in Somalia if his parents are not alive. 100 pounds is alot back home for us it’s pocket money in the west.

Ok got that. Let's say, you footed the bills for years now the kids are at a collage age and need to go to college. Somalia is still not established, so they need to go abroad for college. Your father and his wife ask you to bring them to the west and take care of them for the entire collage years. what you gonna do?

Since I don’t live in America I don’t have this problem but however University is 9 Thousands a year so 3-4 years in uni is = 27-36 Thousand + with interests (your money will be taken once you start earning over 25K ). So by the time his children finished uni he has to pay his uni debt and of course I will help but he needs to also get a job and pay some of it off. I would pay probably 40-50% off and he can do the rest unless if he don’t find good job .
