There are some Westerners who don't celebrate their birthdays or Christmas, but on things like their opinions on Women's rights, Democracy, Rule of Law, degree of Individualism etc you can distinguish them from other civilizations.

The complete opposite of westernised.

No music in my house, no birthdays ever, no Christmas. We cook Somali food but also other dishes (Indian and Arab).

But at the same time my parents are educated and speak multiple languages, and were pretty moderate. Islam only and that's a good thing.

Not a lot actually, it varies. Me and my siblings are definitely more westernised than our parents though.
