One thing I find really odd if you truly felt that way, you could just leave the community and move on.
But instead, you stick around: researching Somalia, lurking in Somali spaces, following what Somalis do, posting about it. For what?
It’s clear you hate yourself, but it goes deeper than Somalia , you seem to hate yourself as a person. That’s the only conclusion anyone can reasonably draw.
You’re not going to change how most Somalis feel about themselves or their country with pejoratives, labels, or by weaponizing memes and random comments online. It’s a futile, self defeating endeavor, yet you engage in it day in and day out.
The proof? Thousands of Somalis left, yes, but millions invest in their country, returning each year with skills, wealth, and social capital, contributing to its growth.
That’s why we are proud of being Somali because we love ourselves, and we are surrounded by communities that uplift and support us
And I said as much the last time you all ran with these types of threads: Maybe it will serve as another wake up call to find another hobby

Yes, exceedingly so. We have some of the oldest and richest civilisations, cities, cultures and histories in the world. we're exceedingly good looking too as a collective, tall and lean and handsome. We have one of the largest countries in the world and our ethnic territory is almost exclusively ours. The others desperately copy us. We're the blueprint.
I disagree w your idea we have nothing to be proud of. A small minority of people are humiliating themselves on TikTok doesn't mean all the youth are. brain rot on TikTok spans all ethnicities.
I didnt say nothing to be proud of I said "nothing to be fully proud of" there's semi things to be proud of but not enough and that's ok. There's many nations worse off than us yet are still proud in being where they are from. And tbh somali boys humiliating themselves is an epidemic not one off.
