Hitting children is definitely a form of psychopathy. Niggas who do that shit violently need to get their minds focking checked. Children that undergo physical and verbal abuse usually turn up to be bums or criminals. They would also not know the consequences of violence if you're constantly hitting them. Like, how can you tell them, "hitting is bad, you would go to jail for doing such things", whilst taking advantage and beating them?

That being said, I prefer to discipline my child as least damaging as possible. Attempting to reason with him/her would fare significantly more better for the child's mental health in the long run. Scolding can be effective as well, but it must be done in the most extreme cases of misbehavior, in order to show severity of his/her behavior, and the consequences it warrants.

When you beat a child, that means that you failed to appropriately communicate with them.

Same goes for turning violent even with adults. Not always true but most of the time one resorts to hurling insults and throwing hands because the ability to sort things out with words has broken down.

Imo, many moms beat their kids because they see their dad in them. They take their frustration out on their children.
