My family used to live in Parry Sound before we moved around like all Somali nomads. I am always reminded of my birth town whenever someone asks where I am from. It's crazy how many Somalis still live in small towns across Canada. A lot of people think majority of us live in the major developed inner cities but that isn't the case. You will find Somalis in small towns like Parry sound till this day.

I go back to my birth town every summer to visit relatives and have a rad time.
