Somalis were never proud to be Somali, their pride was in their clan. This new idea was copied and pasted from the black community, that was given the phrase I’m black and proud by James Brown.Good perspective but the above mentioned statement is wrong. Many people are proud of their ethnicity be it muslim or non muslims.
