Are there any mines active in Somalia that could export? Or provide iron,Somalia imports up to a $100 million in iron and steel from china

The mineral industry of Somalia produces small quantities of gemstones and salt. The country also has deposits of feldspar, gypsum, iron ore, copper, gold, kaolin, limestone, natural gas, quartz, silica sand, tantalum, tin, and uranium.

We need Heavy investment in large Equipment to export Iron ore. We could then have a factory produce steel, we also export more than 100 million in gold to UAE.

First a geological survey has to be done to see how much of what we even have. The set up cost will be in the 100 of millions so the amount that we have has to justify that start up cost.
