Are there any Somali polyglots here.

Since it's normal to be trilingual in today's society especially for Somalis , we have seen large numbers of people boasting about their fluency , I saw an adeer claiming to speak more than 11 languages , which I beg to differ , I thought he talking out of his ass , then he spoke Russian , however I still doubt that he is a polyglot, knowing more languages can mess up with your head and sometimes you mix up the words.

Which led to this question , do they really exist.

English, Somali and french for me. My english and Somali being better than my french which is only conversational.

my uncle can speak english, somali, arabic and swahili. All of them read and write fluently. He’s also never been to an english speaking country, he lived in Uganda and Sudan though which helped his english a bit. Of course he mainly learned Arabic and Swahili there.

Wow Aramaic , this language sounds interesting , as it is very ancient , there are striking similarities with other Semitic languages , like Amharic and Armenian.

Anyways you can see it from here

Btw some Christians believe that Jesus was an Assyrian and the tongue he spoke was the language of Aramaic not this Latinised Pope language we see today in the Vatican city.

Of course you can't compare Aramaic with that , that's so very wrong.
Or maybe I am just ignorant who knows.

Somalis like most ethnic minorities are bilingual by default. Trilingual at best if you count Reer Europe & Arabia since English is taught in school world wide.
