Romania was the only Warsaw pact country in Eastern Europe that kept ties with Somalia after '78. They were still accepting Somali students and providing assistance to Afweyne.Not since 1991, probably.
During Kacaanka, there were Somalis there either as embassy workers, international students etc but as ppl have said on this thread, they're not our biggest fans.
