true, i think its ignorant for people to claim they know if a god exists or not.

I'm an agnostic atheist. The two aren't and don't have to be mutually exclusive. Agnosticism is a question of knowledge, and I agree that it's ignorant to assert the nonexistence of a deity.

Pretty much. Someone who is agnostic atheist doesn't assert the nonexistence of a deity but doesn't believe one exists either. Someone who just doesn't know, or thinks the question is answerable, is just an agnostic.
