Fax the caucosoid skull is actual bone science and not pseudoscience, they're just tryna gaslight you into becoming a Madow
Psedoscience detected. And you are also being gaslit into accepting alignment with colonial-era eugenic "science". Somali features like narrower nasal indexes and distinct facial planes don’t even fit these so-called “Caucasoid” categories. Our features aren’t a copy, not an in-between, not derivative of anyone else. Yet you try to subsume yourself under the wrong classification. We're Somali, end of story, and be comfortable with that alone. Do not hitch your cart to the wrong wagon. Why not stand firm in being Somali instead of chasing validation from a framework that was never built for us?

They’re a hit or miss, sometimes they come out extremely good looking and sometimes extremely ugly. Most of the time they are just mediocre looking.

being a mix of countries/races supposedly adds to smv
its 100% apparent cus this notion is pushed a decent amount in socials , the media , songs ect
but its really up to the people if it does or does not

a lot of ts is in the eyes of the beholder
cus some people prefer one race over the other cus of preference
with things like this we all gotta understand there is bound to be bias when things like looks and races are compared/discussed.

Is their exotic looks is the reason why mainstream fines them attractive. Their exotic appearances is the reason why they’re always getting contract by the mainstream. Some are average looking and they exist. Society just fetishes the mixed people. Some are plain and slightly unattractive. But is their unique features is what gives them an endless contract.

No. There are just as many good-looking mono-ethnic people as there are mixed ones.
These conversations are played out and often meant to triangulate one group over another. On average, Somalis are good-looking. And the mixed ones that retain Somali features get lucky. I have a pro-Somali bias, obviously. We do not need embellishments, but thank us for the features. What we really need is to amplify our main character syndrome and to embrace our narcissism.

Also, from what I have noticed, people who feel more secure do not need to make such inquiries. If your beauty is valued within your in-group, chances are you won't be playing these appraisal games.

This inquiry was only used for social engagement. Is an observation how I see mixed people getting the attention from society (model contract, Hollywood representation) ect.

They’re plain looking mixed that looks average (drake) but they’re also attractive ones: Prince, Jason Momoa, Tyla and Zendaya.

They don’t even look that exotic most of the time tbh especially the half black ones. Most still have big noses and kinkier hair, just lighter skin and more sharper features. The gorgeous ones are usually a mix of color in hair and eyes.

I’ll be honest the biracials I’ve seen in Canada are pretty lackluster.

Understandable.

It depends on which types of mixed people.

With Wasians they sometimes play full Asians. With Asians they sometimes play Wasians. I cannot speak for them in modeling because I am not aware of household names.

Historically, Hollywood has used mixed-race or mixed-looking women in film even though they are not representative of the majority. This was to use them as a Black buffer group, emphasizing their difference from White but their proximity to it relative to their darker counterparts.

With men it is a different story since the highest paid Black actors were and are mostly dark skinned men. However, there are a number of dark skinned female actors as well (Lupita, Gabrielle Union, Angela Bassett and Viola Davis).

With Black people as of late, in modeling they are rarely using mixed with Black/African models (currently) and are rather favouring an ink dark look found in South Sudanese or Senegalese-like individuals. Not medium brown or lighter but for deep contrast. I have heard African Americans complaining about this.

It’s intriguing, but as you know this has nothing to do with Horners specifically. And when Horners did appear, they weren’t really framed as part of real Blackness but rather treated as exceptions admired and fetishized as rare anomalies. Sometimes even described in a racially narcissistic sense by white people as “White women dipped in chocolate.” They also tried to lie about Iman's heritage/ancestry. In any case, this was problematic because it had alot to do with cadaan projection.

Generally, Horn of African models have had moments of visibility. Iman in the 1980s, Liya Kebede in the 2000s, and more recently Halima Aden in the 2010s with the hijabi/modest fashion wave.
