It feels like every day there’s a new fight between men and women online. Everyone’s blaming each other, yet no one listens
Especially in our Somali society it has turned into self-hatred When you talk about Somali men or women in the ugliest way and that they are ugly, some people now use memes that non-Somalis use
There doesn't seem to be a solution it will just continue.

Gender wars are not unique to Somalis. It happens in every group.This is symptomatic of something global. The divide is everywhere.

The childish antics are one thing but it takes away from the real issues like inequities via gendered assymmetries of male-female relationships (romantic, instrumental and platonic).

Women bear greater costs and reap less rewards. Until there is a move toward something more egalitarian and reciprocal, the status quo won't change.

Women are extracted from more. That's why I believe in my new motto. Be boring. Be bland. Be dumb. Be lazy. It strategic incompetence so when you do something normal. You get a clap.

No one can engage in offloading, emotional siphoning, idea theft, personality swapping or beauty borrowing if there is nothing to take from.

I think it's this America society we have adopted that causing the issue. For instance look at the house wife tvs shows they never show a house hold that listen to each other but they are always yelling and throwing stuff at each other. They never show a family that a couple talk to each other as adults
