Are Ethiopian and Somali relationships common?

What type of Ethiopian? Somalis sometimes intermix with Oromos because they are closely related to us. Xabeshis, hell nah. Vastly different culture, not much interaction, and mostly Orthodox Christian. We marry more Yemenis than with them.

No.I've seen one somali single mom with ethiopian guy even that didn't last. It ended fast he then got married to chick from his country. She had a kid with the somali and hie is very involved with his child's life unlike the somali dead beat who left her with 5 kids never to be heard of.

There are almost no Oromos in the West. There are some in America, but almost none in Europe. So in the diaspora it is more likely to be Somali+Habesha than Somali+Oromo.

There are quite a few Islamic Habeshas as well, something like 1 in 5.
