PS: I love my Dinka people, but I'm not delusional.

The wars I'm talking about are the wars that the Dinka wage on other ethnic groups in South Sudan.

The defensive wars against the Afro-Arabs of Khartoum-Omdurman and the Baggara of Kordofan and Darfur were not only entirely justified, they were HOLY; and I make no apologies for that. Don't get it twisted.

We confuse racism with racial hatred.

Africans just don't seem to understand that racism is merely a by-product of power dynamics -- and when you've been at the bottom for more than half a millenia, it's a tall order to demand respect.

Racism is the belief that another group of people are intellectually, physically or morally inferior and Africa's unenviable state consistently gives quarter to notions of African intellectual and moral inferiority.

What kind of respect can you grant to a continent that hasn't produced a single 1st world, industrialised Nation and is seemingly content with allowing its babies to die from hunger, malaria, diarrhoea and other easily treatable illnesses and diseases?

If Sub-Saharan Africa produced just one Nation that is comparable to Germany or Japan, then the claims of biological (inherent inferiority) would ring hollow and could be readily ridiculed and dismissed.

I'll say it again:

There's a difference between racial hatred and racism; this sounds a little perverse, but I would actually relish it if every race hated us.. but only if we were on the same level of development as Germany or Japan and were militarily on the same level as the major powers.
