There is archaic Hebrew influence in Ge’ez, some old Jewish traditions that have been part of there Orthodox Church such as Men and Women sitting separately in Church, women veiling in Church, some of there dietary and fasting laws are Jewish too.
There was even an Axumite king named Israel. The claim of descent from King Solomon and Sheba also dates back to the Axumite era too.

Correct. They had their own kingdom that sometimes allied with Adal and sometimes with Abyssinia. Zera Yaqoub destroyed it however.
