Yeah I've heard of her, she's obviously quite important given how long her story has been told. We should write down these stories and put these things up online for others to see, especially the diaspora who would benefit from learning about back home.

I don't know much about her except the fact that she fought for women's rights and men hate her. Anyone know her story?

Well it might be very hard to prove that she existed but one thing is for sure is that her story is very old. You see the story of araweelo is also found among the sidama and it's very similar to the one we have. Rendille and even the boran have stories of a female dictator that ruled over them. There is a population in ethiopia that also have a story similar to arawelllo with one difference being that araweelo is a man not a women and is called rooble.
