Also, this is not only an Arab problem. There are many people who abuse domestic workers across the globe, in places like South Asia, ME and Africa. Even in Somalia, most domestic workers are Mushunguli and I've heard stories of mistreatment.

That's why I am against hiring someone as a domestic worker unless you hire from a respected company and they're paid well with benefits.

I don't know if that is true, but I think it may be an unwritten rule to hire other "Arabs" as maid workers.

You deliberately misunderstood me.

People get conned into working as domestic workers overseas, usually agents will offer good opportunities and job prospect but when the workers arrive, they get their belongings and passports seized.

If they want to leave or escape, they get jailed or have pay back exorbitant sums that usually over a year's salary. Don't think for a second that most of the people that are domestic workers want to be one.
