Any map that says arabic majority anywhere in Somaliweyn is lying. Imagine thinking there’s more arabic speakers in djibouti than Chad and Morocco
We understand Arabic. Speak for yourselfim pretty convinced more than 90 percent of somalis dont understand arabic nor can speak it,
you don't even speak arabic.Alhamdulilah
Not talking about reading Arabic I'm talking about understanding what is being read. Highly doubt it unless you live in an Arab country. We understand Arabic. Speak for yourself
It's the language of the Quran. You get credit for pretending to know it.you don't even speak arabic.
credit? It's the language of the Quran. You get credit for pretending to know it.
You 100% correct this is why I think the Khtuba back home should be delivered in the Somali language instead of Arabic or mix between the two because the majority of Somalis may not understand Arabic effectively. This change will allow the message of the khutbah to reach a wider audience and ensure that it is comprehensible to the Khutbah attendees .im pretty convinced more than 90 percent of somalis dont understand arabic nor can speak it,
Reading the Khutba of the Jumah in any other language is Bidah.
For that you need to have a highly influential civilisation that outsiders want to emulate and be a part of, Somalis never had their own civilisation to even begin with.Gotta respect this level of landheernimo, somalis should have done the same.
There is a legit Ikhtilaaf on this. Some of the Islamic schools of thought don't allow the Khutba to be read in any other language than Arabic.
What the logic behind this? Do you know what Khubba means or just take at as ceremony without knowing the purpose of it?There is a legit Ikhtilaaf on this. Some of the Islamic schools of thought don't allow the Khutba to be read in any other language than Arabic.
This is not like you denying the anticipated arrival of the Mahdi because it's not in the Quran and the Sahiheyn of Muslim & Bukhari.
