You told me to not include Islam which literally the biggest influence of spreading Arab culture. Thats like me asking Black Americans how did you become Western but dont include slavery (changing their location) and dont mention religion. Then how the hell else did happen.

Names (traditional Somali names like Samatar etc)
Camel herding (which we know we started)
Hijab, Niqab, Henna etc.
Internet (for everyone)

Some Arabs might agree with you. Saddam Hussein was a Somaliphile. Many Arabs are since they are starting to hate their own people. I've seen some want to be more African (Ghadafi wanted to leave Arab League since the Gulf sees N.A as inferior too).

The last part isnt true our people are becoming more arabized through islamic education. Tbf we only had a choice between that or non profits teaching westernization which is way too different.

But it is because humans are too dumb to realize. The Prophet and his people wore arab clothing due to the weather. If he was born in the Artic would M.E be told to wear parkas? No. Some things are Islam and deen some are just arabization. Why the hell do we call eachother Akbar and this nonsense? I didn’t say they were inferior per se, just that I think less of them. And you don’t emulate those that u see as less than you.

What is arabization? Similar clothes can be found in most parts of the world. Who calls who akbar? That’s not even a typical somali name.

And the convo isnt about what YOU emulate. There humans wanting to be an entire different gender? We are talking about SOMALI people which yes are not all the same but we are discussing a culture/group of people, not YOU. I can say I want to emulate South Koreans and like their culture but thats not relevant. And the answer to arabization or any form of power isnt to say they inferior, its indifference. I dont think they are superior or inferior. Some of their culture is great some not like any place.

Would I want to get stoned to death or bombed on Syria? No. But I wouldn't mind being rich in Dubai. Hell yeah. Would I want to be bombed in Ukraine? No. But I wouldn't mind being rich in Monaco? Sure. I can wish to be Beyonce all I want but thats not my life.

You can emulate those you see superior and inferior. Most people would think White Americans are superior to blacks yet they imitate their culture? Why? People think drug addicts are inferior and bad yet many form addictions why? Why are people obese when that is considered inferior to being thin?

So you are pretending we dont call ourselves some Arab names. Now what your doing is creating an illusion that Arabs culture does not exist at all, like the Westerns who claim colorblind. If walked around calling ourselves Hindu names we would know it came from India no? Like it or not our Prophet came from the land we know is arab. Now those Arabs might have been totally different than the ones now but nonetheless we still imitate aspects of their culture. It could have been our culture first, who knows? Its what we give credit to now. America is founded by Europeans but the land was before by natives.

And no similar clothes are found in the world NOW but I doubt Eskimos were wearing desert attire etc. I'll give you an example the male suit originated by the British. Now people where it around the world. But we do know it came from there.
