Sister, you have to understand why arabism has been an issue in Sudan.

Sudan was occupied by the mamluks, khedivites and Ottomans.

many natibe tribes were arabized.

but people have never rejected their African identity.

How some egypyian fallah attacks a Sudanese Fallah is beyond me. Their the same culture, farmers from Ancient Egyptian period, their the farming class or as we call em eelays.

It's just the Egyptians got a bit raped in between by various invaders and less so Sudan.

Chad, Mali, Libya, Algeria are more sahelian culture or mansa musa influenced cultures and should never of been apart of Sudan. I went to high school and college with these type of sudanis. They were all whitewashed. In high school the ones I went to school with only hung out with Cadaans and Arabs. I was cool with a few south sudos though. use to hoop every weekend with some sudos in my neighborhood.

When I was in college I was legit surprised when I witnessed some of these sudanis show up to my school's east African club. I was like " since when TF did these niggas claim to be east African"".

That's interesting. The ones in the Khaleej don't seem white-washed. In the favoring cadaans sense at least, but definitely in terms of having really cringe liberal views sometimes (she/her types). If anything, they identified more with "blackness" even if they had that hierarchical mentality I mentioned.

And yeah, in college in Dubai I noticed Somalis, Ethiopians and Sudanis generally formed a clique. I honestly found it weird in that it felt like they mostly hung out with each other whereas I opted to just befriend anyone regardless of their ethnicity or nationality.
