@Steamdevolopment its possibly that those women don’t see themselves as oppressed because they have a completely different mindset

They eat and breath Islam in that country

They don’t have western egalitarian values

An gender-based abuse victim is a victim whether the recognize themself, and they are no different than the women who run back to the abuser and defend them expect the abuser is society at large in this case.

Gender-based abuse is not subjective standard but an objective criteria by actions taken, and as such it does not matter if the violence/abuse is committed based on anger or from supposed divine command, however wether you'll excuse is matter belief or delusion depending on the point view taken.

Yet you won't hear Arab women complaining about being oppressed and turning into hoes. :manny: It's obviously working because the freedom we have given to OUR women only resulted in them complaining about us 24/7 like we abuse them and becoming hoes.

of all the BS we imported from the arabs, this should've been the one.:hemad:

We must look to the dhagacas and the inbred bastards from the subcontinent if we want to make Somalia great.:mjswag:

@Apollo Your thoughts on this?

The arab world:
That is a straw-man as it i mischaracterization of the argument presented. I never claimed that all arab men beat their women but conclusive study proves that gender-based crimes is greater issue and it is underscored by the few protections against it in the legal framework.

Patriarchy:
Those women will disproportionate face discrimination in job-market with limited opportunities, violence against them are culturally accepted, their agency is limited as shown by the video and restrictions apply that no male member have to adhere too. All those aspects would increase dissatisfaction and international studies and objective measurement confirm this trend.

The less patriarchal and more gender equal the happier are women and it has other benefits for society as increased productivity and growth.
U really are a delusional fake lesbo lol.

Why are u complaining about the so called "patriarchy" when u live in the most cucked country in the world? Just shut the f*ck up if u don't live in a true patriarchal society. You have no reason to complain.

That's their culture I guess but I'd like to hear women's thoughts since alot of middle east women don't want to work either but only rich gulf arabs can have that luxury not poor Jordanians

What is feminism doing for them, your hatred for Islam is blinding you to the injustice women face especially in the West and other developed countries.

Indian boys thinking wife beating is acceptable, the violence committed against women in male dominated South Africa, forced sexual experience are all symptom of patriarchy.

Also you're making the mistake of conflating these reported numbers with actual increased abuse, rather than seeing as being as better reporting the sexual assaults trough standard methods and less stigma against the victims and more broad defintion what count as sexual assault protecting more women, especially for Sweden, the feminist capital.

Please read the aforementioned source and be more careful of your use of statistics.

Patriarchy is the natural order of the world, the first woman was created from the rib of a man:samwelcome:

The Quran requires women dress modestly and cover their chests. Nowhere in the Quran does it say cover your hair or even specify that a woman's hair is considered awrah as far as I'm aware.
No where in the quran does it tell us how to pray but we take what the prophet s.a.w did as proof just like that we take what the female companions of the prophet s.a.w wore as proof as to what to wear
“O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies. That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed.”(Quran 33:59)

Say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and protect their private parts (from sins); and they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what appear thereof...(Quran 24:31).

When a girl reaches the menstrual age, it is not proper that anything should remain exposed except this and this. He pointed to the face and hands.[Abu Dawud]

So cover all except face and hands which isn't mandatory

I’m not talking abuse but inequalities before the law like inheritances, male guardians etc

Because it’s a Muslim nation women try to justify these things somehow, and because they’ve only known it they can’t describe something different or imagine, they can’t miss or ask for something they’ve never known

They don’t know they’re oppressed

Anyway

They do have feminist movements but it’s crushed

Also I don’t support forced equality because the state would have to become highly intrusive to make outcomes equal

It’s not even reasonable to aim for complete equality of opportunity, because that’s also demands an intrusive state , it would be expensive and maybe unfair. But giving people opportunities is important of course.

So a middle way is needed.

But some inequality has to be accepted, whether you accept inherent differences in people or not

The article says, FGM is frowned upon by the overwhelming majority of the people in the Hashemite kingdom, but it is practiced by the residents of a small town called Rahma with a population of 500 which is near the Egyptian border. It’s also practiced by some residents in Gazza also brought to them by Egyptian nomads from the Sinai. The Shams don’t even practice the one the Salafis call Sunnah.
