Arab Cuisine

To those of you who've lived in the Mideast, what do you think about Arab cuisine? In my limited exposure to it, I HATE it. It's so bland and their obsession with lamb is horrific. I can't stand lamb or any soups containing lamb. I puke upon taste. I know Somalis from the Mideast but they only describe int'l restaurants and Somali food, not Arab food.

Sambosa has origins in India (samosa), Shawarma was invented in Turkey and hummus is basic af.

Maybe I should’ve said gulf cuisine. Lebanese food is ok in my experience. Shawarma is not a Saudi thing. And Persians are not Arab lmao
