Arab Christian might be annoying

How are you gatekeeping a language non of your forefathers created :lawd: Arabic came from Ishmael and his descendants and yet (Saudi ) don’t complain about it but they do

It’s insecurity because people would never see them as arabs because they’re christians. They hate that non arab muslims are more likely to be mistaken for arabs than them.

Indians do the same thing.

Dudududu college Nu chahi language Na he halabalawala ni heya scary Na he

This happens (and will happen) in all former colonial countries, that have retained the colonial language.

I’ve seen many Indians, Filipinos, Nigerians, Lebanese etc. who unintentionally use English/French when speaking the local language, *in their home countries*.

Mark my words, all of those languages will end up becoming pidgin/creoles in the future.

Despite the relative recent usage of English in Nigeria; Nigerian (English) pidgin is already the de-facto lingua franca :silanyolaugh:

I don't think many Nigerians and Ghanians below a certain age speak their native language. Two Nigerians in their 50s (Edo and Yoruba) and a Ghanaian in his 30s (Ashanti) told me they only speak English (their English is pidgin) but their parents speak their native language. They were all born in Africa and immigrated here as grown adults.

What you mean his forefathers didn’t create it and what that have to do with ishmeil?

They speak english fleuntly and people do dawah in english. It is not cringe then, however when a non-Arab uses islamic terminology in Arabic it is cringe.

Some people just hate just because they are bored. The worst thing is I know a couple murtads are going to cling onto this as a gotcha against muslims because they are always desperate.

Arabic came from Ishmael and his descendants
That’s where the language came from hence why his descendants was the first speakers . Majority of the Arabs are not descendants from ishmeal except Saudi and certain places in Jordon . Others arab countries come from different semetic forefathers

No isma'il عليه السلام isn't the first one to speak arabic rather he is the first to speak what would be considered adnani arabic. Arabic was spoken long before isma'il عليه السلام matter of fact himyaritic is also arabic.

This is modern day understanding of the language family tree and how they relate to each other. Do you know what adnani arabs are called? They're called arabaized arabs meaning those who became arabs. Arabs are those who speak arabic and isma'il عليه السلام learned arabic from them.

There was once an interaction between a himyaritic speaking king and a adnani arabic speaking man. A misunderstanding rose up and the himyaritic king said ليست عربيتنا كعربيتهم meaning our arabic isn't like their arabic. Adnani arabic was probably influenced by the original language spoken by ibrahim عليه السلام. The pure arabic is that spoken by qahtanis. Both adnani and qahtanis of old acknowledged that they spoke arabic but in deferent ways.

Ofc every semetic language is related to one to another however some are more closely related like Arabic, Aramaic and Hebrew.

The last one do you have source for that information ?
But I think you’re wrong anyways
Remember both Ibraheem sons yaqub and ishmeal and their descendants had two languages (Hebrew and Arabic ) and both didn’t come from Ibraheem (probably influenced by Ibraheem native tongue like the rest semetic languages). The pure Arabs which is the southern Arabian who are releated to excited Arabs Thamud and Ad languages is seabeans, Hadhramitic, Qatabānic, himyaritic etc descends from the ancient excited Arab language (the people of ad and Thamud ) .

However Arabic is different and its origin it’s similar to Hebrew. The first Arabic speakers was people from the northern Arabian (saudi but the northern part ). Nabi ishmeal probably have learned their language(pure Arabs )since he have lived with them at young age but Arabic didn’t come from since Arabic itself it’s closer to Hebrew and Aramaic then any southern Arabian language.

There is west and east semtic group language.
Both Arabic and southern Arabian languages fall into west semtic group but there is so group within west semtic group

The central and south semtic language.

Central semtic languages
Arabic
Hebrew
Aramaic
Canaanite

Southern semtic languages
Ancient southern Arabian
Any Morden southern Arabian
Ethiopian semtic language.

It’s shows how arabic itself it’s close to leveant Semitic languages then south Arabian languages

Agree to disagree i've read himyaratic inscription and heard gee'z and it's very similar to arabic. انامل meaning fingers مفرم meaning mouth منخر meaning nose صنارة meaning ear and إمبارح meaning yesterday are all himyaritic yet very understandable. This is how arabs understood it back in time, isma'il عليه السلام learned the language of jurhum and became an arab originally being babylonian and ishaq عليه السلام learned the language of al-sham canaanite (old hebrew was almost indistinguishable from canaanite) and became part of the people.

Here is the source of the story.

I think people here are coping Arab christians and muslims live in harmony . Most of them are united on a pan arab identity. regardless a palestinian muslim is way closer to a palestinian christian compared to south asian muslim/somali muslim

U have a point, but somalis will happily throw another somali under the bus just bcs they have a different qabil even tho they r both muslims. Somalis dont fw other somalis but expect solidarity from other muslims.
