Anyone realize their standards get more realistic as they get older?

When I was younger I only felt attracted to women who were pretty and fun to be around but now that I’ve gotten older I think my standards dropped, maybe as a realization that it’ll probably be hard for me to attarct a pretty somali women. In fact that idea of being with a pretty Xalimo as a wife is kinda intimidating ngl, I’d much prefer to have a close and intimate relationship with a Xalimo who’s a 4-6 out of ten in looks with a BMI of under 26, that’s calm, mature, kind and never went through the “fun” faze than be with a pretty Xalimo who gets attention from everyone but doesn’t want to settle down.

What do you guys think? Is it low self esteem or has my standards become more realistic as I’ve become older valuing appearance less and who they are as a person more.

The thing is I think modern people are way too concerned with superficial things like looks. I’m much more worried about whether I’d be compatible with someone and whether the mother of my kids is going to be a good women long term than anything else, looks plays second fiddle to that for me by a long margin.

I don't know who you are as a person but you're mentality is unattractive. You need more growing up sxb. Date women from many different backgrounds and explore the world, more faraxs are myopic when it comes to the world.
