I don't really like speculating too much, but if you compare what Bejas look like and then what ethnic Somalis look like, then notice what is different, that may have been caused by them. Even though this approach is not completely accurate.

I am E1b1b1c1a and 100 % NW European. We both descend from the Natufians, who are from the southern Caucasus, Levant area. You have Nilote and I have Chedar Man, a European hunter/gatherer who survived the ice age.
