Anyone in Medicine and Engineering(Of Any Kind) at Research level on here?

:rejoice:

Gonna study a new electrical/construction engineering degree with a specialization into renewable energy as a whole:wow:

Robots won't come gunning for my future job at least :mjhaps:

Calculated and smart move. Narrow the competition and give yourself an edge.

Helps to have in-demand skills. With that said, any gratuate of computer science and electrical engineering can make the robots themselves. The electrical engineer builds it and the computer scientist writes the codes. The robots become their pets. People will employ them to maintain these robots at least.

I worked on certain fixed and mobile robots before in my previous manufacturing job. Also took a class on robotics in college. We currently have two machines in our research facility with robotic arms inside.

Tell us what you do as a project and what you study. I do assist people from a wide variety of fields from medicine and engineering to material science with some technical work at our facility. They do develop, create and work on useful technologies that can get into the markets tomorrow.

A simple example is the design of microfluidics which enable researchers to study cancer or any other disease in isolation cheaply and effectively. Some other engineering work in magnetics, solar systems, self assembling nano-crystals that will help quantum computing do take place at my work too.

So tell us what you study and what you hope to accomplish in the future.

Well, I'm a stonemason and operations manager at a sailing vessel manufacturing company. After I had completed my A Levels, I was about to go to university, to study History and Politics at Leicester University. I was talked out of it by my dad, who recommended that i pursue a trade (plumping, carpentry, electrician and so on). For some reason, I took an interest in stonemasonry.

I then promptly enrolled on a four year stonemasonry apprenticeship, in which at the end became a fully fledged stonemason. I am now self-employed, working when and where I want in construction sites all over the country, and living a very comfortable life.

I dont regret not going to uni. Heck, most likely would've wasted three years on going to parties and trying to fingerf*ck girls.

Doesn't seem too bad tbh:patrice:

The fact that I can earn essentially free money by investing my student loans and live for at home free (making me too rich for stipends anyways) during it is amazing:banderas: Won't go into shares straight away tho, need time to figure it out if anything.
My tip to anyone studying in not USA, is to take as much advantage (legally ofc) of the services offered to you as you possibly can. Way too many are just along for the ride and don't know any better.

You are a builder and that is a good profession saxib. You seem to have a good foundation in education too.

Keep up the good work.

About to finish my undergrad in Electrical Engineering. I will be starting my Masters in a few months. No idea what I want to specialise in though.

You don't want to work a little bit before you continue to your masters? If you have scholarships or other means to pay for the masters, great. Continue.

Drop by the bookstore tonight at Edina mall. Coffee is on me. You know downstairs is isolated mostly and hardly anyone will disturb us as we sit on the floor by the book stacks in that coolly lit underground rooms. We pretend we are reviewing books ;)

I like Older women who are post menopause like you when they are sane.
Haaye so you’re reer Edina too? I thought I was the only one from there, @Basra and @kickz live in riverside plaza and @Reiko admitted to living in the small tuulo Owattana, she still resides in the same neighborhood since 94 :siilaanyolaugh:

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

That is stringent. At the Us, you get the EE BSc degree in 4 years and move on to work or continue studying. Your choice. Most students stop at the 4 year degree. The state administers the degree granting exam to gratuate and not the University to ensure integrity also.

Good luck. Take advantage of the opportunities and study as much they will pay for.

I drive through there to pick up students (my college age relatives) from summer jobs at the mall. Been to the bookstore there several times as well. But I don't live there.

Ahh I see, I noticed not a lot of Somalis live in this city. You guys are missing out. If only it wasn’t so expensive I would consider buying a house here too.
