How did you do it? What was the process like? What kind of business?

my mum went from a hawker, to shop owner, to a successful business woman who is transitioning to real estate now.

What I learned from her is the idea behind your business does not matter at all unless you have a product that can sell itself and you can market it well enough. Everything else will just follow through. Legal papers, accounting/finance, hiring, warehousing, ex/import stuff ... everything will just follow as long as you have a product that sells.
